Faith is like a rope

I got the chance to teach the children at church today.  We covered week 2 of the Kids on the Move curriculum Volume 6.  In order to have faith, you must have hope.  Hope helps you see that it is possible.  The cowboy has to see the calf before he can rope it.  When he has it in the lariat rope, then he has to hold on to the rope to get the calf.

Hebrews 10:35 says, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.”

We must confidently hold on to faith with patience to receive the reward.

Abraham believed God’s promise of a child, even though his wife was barren and past child-bearing age.  He kept on believing until God came through.
