Iron Sharpens Iron

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

When Christian brothers and/or sisters get together with a good attitude, we can sharpen each other.  We can encourage each other, when we focus on the things that we have in common and not our differences.  This became very clear to me as I ate lunch with a youth pastor of another church.  The conversation bounced from what God was doing in our lives to ministry strategies to communication skills and more.  I left the meal feeling refreshed and challenged to continue making a difference in the lives of teenagers.  If you need sharpening, spend some time with a Christian brother or sister today.
