Love In Action Ministries

Ken Tuck of Love In Action International Ministries recently asked me to join their board.  LIA is a ministry that proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ through acts of compassion.  We had our first board meeting on Monday night and I am excited about what God is doing through Love In Action.  The itinerary for 2009 is ambitious, but we serve a God who is more than able to do more than we can ask or imagine.  Love In Action has plans to minister to the homeless and working poor in Atlanta, Albany (GA), Ft. Lauderdale, Brooklyn, Northern Virginia, and Dothan in the coming year.  I am looking forward to the trip to the Dominican Republic in 2009.  We are planning to repair a school building that will minister to 162 children that otherwise would not get an education.  We connect with local churches and ministries for all of the outreaches, so that we can connect people that accept Christ to be discipled.  Love In Action has helped ministries in three different countries this year.  To check out LIA’s full list of accomplishments for 2008:  click here.

If you would like to make Love In Action a part of your year-end giving or regular giving, Love In Action will make great use of your donation to make an impact for Christ.  You can also check out LIA’s website to give or volunteer:  www.loveinactionministries.com  Give, volunteer, and pray for Love In Action International Ministries as we reach out to the least of these.

  1. Thanks Bro. You are an awesome man of God and an awesome leader. Thanks for accepting the board member position. It’s an honor to work with you in the ministry. You bring a lot of energy and great ideas to Love In Action.

    Love you Bro!

  2. Ditto man…I loved the meeting and the direction. I like the mixture of old and new blood, men and women, and multi-denominational for the board. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
